Privacy notice.

This privacy notice explains how Evolution Flooring Contractors (“we”, “us”) collects, stores and uses personal data when you contact us through this website, by phone, or by email. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you fill in the quote-request form we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, the project type and location, and the brief you choose to send. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising cookies, or analytics that profile individuals.

Why we collect it

We use that data only to respond to your enquiry, attend a site survey if you book one, and issue a written quote. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest — you have asked us to quote on a flooring project, and we need contact details to do so.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are retained for up to 24 months after last contact, after which they are deleted. If you become a client, project records are retained for a further six years to satisfy UK statutory record-keeping obligations (Limitation Act 1980).

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share it with sub-contractors specifically engaged on your project, with our accountant for invoicing purposes, or where compelled by law. Our website is hosted on Vercel and uses transactional email infrastructure to receive form submissions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can: (a) request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, (b) ask us to correct inaccurate data, (c) ask us to delete your data when no longer needed, (d) object to processing on legitimate-interest grounds. Send any such request to evolutionflooring24@gmail.com and we will reply within one calendar month.

Cookies

This site uses no analytics, advertising or social-tracking cookies. The only cookies set are strictly necessary first-party session cookies required for the site to function (e.g., Next.js routing). You do not need to consent to these under PECR.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first — please contact us at evolutionflooring24@gmail.com.
